“I was paid to fix DCI Kinoti in jail” activists confessed!

Activists come chairman of people living with disabilities in Meru county, Mike Makarina has confessed that he was paid by a Presidential aspirant to fix DCI boss George Kinoti in jail over the firearm case.

Mike makarina stated that Jimmy Wanjigi promised him millions of shilling if he hides the crucial documents that are in his possession to ensure the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss George Kinoti was jailed.

The activists pointed out that he was aware of the the development of the case since 2018 and that he is a friend of two who was called upon to mediate the issue.

Adding that the two parties had agreed to settle the matter of the court and the documents signed over the same, revealing that it is the same document that wanjigi wants to be hidden for Kinoti to be jailed.

Makarina alleged that, the presidential aspirant was supposed to go the firearm licensing board(FLB) bureau to collect his firearm, accong to the document.

“The bureau cannot come from where it is to give you firearms in your house. You have to take it from their offices,” he said.

He went further and said that, Wanjigi promised him a bribery of 5million if Kinoti was arrested and jailed in a case where he had been told to return wanjigi’s firearms.

“He has promised to give me Ksh5 million and has already sent me Ksh150,000. The Ksh150,000 is for fuel to take the documents to him for Kinoti to be jailed,” Makarina claimed. More
