President Uhuru Kenyatta will be landing in Uganda on 16th November 2021, after Ugandan president Yoweri Museveni invited him for a meeting over some ongoing conflicts.
The ongoing conflict in Ethiopia has kept everyone worried after report emerged that, Ethiopian capital city Addis Ababa could be overrun by anti-goverment forces in a matter of months or weeks to come.
The long term Ugandan President has convened a meeting with East African block countries to discuss how urgent the Addis Ababa situation could be contained without spilling into the neighbouring countries.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the head of state expressed the concerns that after one year the crisis in the falling apart country of Ethiopia had not abated and it has intact deteriorated.
“The fighting has continued, the deaths have accumulated, the displacement continues, the deaths have accumulated, the displacement persists, and suffering and humanitarian emergency have taken root in the country.
“As an original founder of United Nations, Ethiopia has insured many nations and people to seek freedom, promote liberty and independence while standing up to colonialism, imperialism, and other forms of exploitation,” President Uhuru said, calling on Ethiopians to unite and resolve the current crisis in their country.
