City lawyer Kamotho Waiganjo has weighed in on the decision made by his wife Ann Waiguru earlier today 26th October 2021.
Waiganjo, who tied the knot with his Ann back in 2019, stated that he fully supports his wife’s decision to ditch president Uhuru Kenyatta’s jubilee party.
“I support her 110 per cent. That is her decision. Respect demands that I support her,” Waiganjo stated, adding that this was solely Waiguru’s decision, to which she had the right and freedom to make.
Further Waiganjo wondered why people assumes that women leaders need their spouses around while making political decision and no one asks about wive’s decision when their husband is making the same decision.
“Why do people assume women leader’s needs men hand holding yet no one asks wives about their husband’s political decision?” Waiganjo posed.
The outspoken lawyer further dismissed the rumours going round on social media that, he won’t support her or DP Ruto’s UDA come 2022.
Ann Waiguru ditched jubilee party for Ruto’s UDA in an event that went down in Karen, Nairobi earlier today.
The now UDA legislator clarified that, she was pushed to the wall by the shifting political ground in mt.kenya, that’s why she had to make a crucial decision of ditching the jubilee party and join the UDA party in order to secure her seat in kirinyaga.
