How Dp Ruto paid ksh20,000 for an umbrella in Migori!

Deputy president William Ruto bought an umbrella worth ksh 20,000 while on a political tour in Migori county and at the same time he dashed a middle age man another 20,000 shillings.

While addressing the road side crowd from the top of his vehicle, the second in command saw a woman hawking umbrellas when he asked her to pass him one.

Ruto who in return gave her the sum of 20,000 for her umbrella.

At the same location, in yet another incident,a middle age man walking in crutches, asked to speak with the UDA chief, luckily he was allowed to the Deputy President.

Upon approaching the Dp’s vehicle, he was handed 20,000 shillings after a brief conversation with him.

Ruto was on a political tour in Migori county on 25th September 2021, where he was flanked by area governor Okoth Obado.

Addressing the residents of Migori, the second in command stated that, president Uhuru Kenyatta and Orange Democratic movement party leader Raila Odinga have ganged up to frustrate his 2022 presidential bid, adding that, his only hope was lying with the ordinary mwananchi.

Ruto was accompanied to Awendo by Migori Governor Okoth Obado, MPs Sylvanus Osoro (South Mugirango), Ndindi Nyoro (Kiharu), Mathias Robi (Kuria West), Johana Ngeno (Emurua Dikirr), Marwa Kitayama (Kuria East), among others.
