Tiaty member of Parliament William kamket was arrested over alleged involvement in current insecurity unarrest between ranchers and the pastoralist community in Laikipia County.
Report indicates that, the lawmaker is detained at Nakuru for further interrogation by the directorate of criminal investigation.
Baringo County police commander Robinson Ndiwa, who led the arrest said that he was under instruction to arrest the legislator and present him at Nakuru DCI offices.
Source indicates that kamket was arrested barely an hour after former Laikipia north MP Matthew Lempurkel was arrested over the same issue. More
