Two people, a motorcycle and his pillion passenger were fatally injured along Nairobi southern bypass in an accident believed to have been caused by a drunk driver on the evening of Thursday 2nd December.
It’s reported that the drunk driver is the son of a senior police officer, and that he was whisked away from the scene of accident alongside two female passenger on board double cabin pick-up truck.
The effort by media to get information on the accident were futile with the police remaining unyielding all day.
According to the report received, neither the wreckage of the car last seen at the scene of accident nor a police report on the accident was available at Lang’ata Police Station, in whose jurisdiction the accident happened.
The Family of the late bodaboda rider identified him as Stephen Musyoka from Mwingi, Kitui County, who operated in the city.
The pillion passenger whose body is in city mortuary is yet to be identified while the the national police service remains mum on the issue. Read more
